A Letter
from the Owners of SOUTH RIDGEWOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL:
During our acquisition and restoration of the SOUTH RIDGEWOOD
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL we have had the good fortune to meet many former
students, teachers and other local residents with ties to our school
building and to our community.
It pleases us to meet historically minded people with a
desire to see this important building restored and adapted to a new
use while preserving its architectural character and its place in
the community.
We have enjoyed the opportunity to chronicle the building’s
history and its value to Daytona Beach and we hope to continue this
process. With the goal
in mind to display a visual history of the SOUTH RIDGEWOOD
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, we invite you to contact us by mail, by phone, or
by email with your photographs, report cards, memorabilia, and
anecdotes so that we may better understand and relate the stories
behind this wonderful building that has meant so much to so many in
our area.
